TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. All horse(s) that are transported by 2uxpress are transported at the owners risk.
2. You the customer are liable to cover the cost of any damage caused by you or your horse(s) to the vehicle, contents or any third parties property.
3. 2uxpress advise that any horse(s) we transport is fully insured by the owner or his/her agent.
4. All horses should be fit to travel and free from any infectious disease.
5. All horse(s) that travel have a passport and any appropriate paperwork eg; health certificate if required for the journey. These should accompany the horse(s) while in transit and in the care of 2uxpress.
6. 2uxpress do advise the owner or his/her agent should place travel boots and tail bandage/guard on your horse(s) for travelling.
7. 2uxpress do advise that your horse(s) are ready for loading at the booked time this ensures the minimal distress to your horse prior to travel.
8. Should it not be possible to load your horse(s) a callout fee will still be charged, mileage already travelled and time taken to try and load your horse will be taken into account.
9. 2uxpress accept no liability for loss of entry fees or any other related expenses in the event of traffic delays, road accidents, road improvements, bad weather and ferry cancellations.
10. 2uxpress shall have the sole discretion as to the means, route and procedure to be followed in the care and carriage of your horse(s).
11. While all drivers, grooms and staff employed by 2uxpress to take all reasonable precautions, in the event of an accident please note that you the owner are personally liable for your horse(s) in the event of injury or damage sustained to or by your horse(s).
12. 2uxpress reserve the right to refuse to transport your horse due to being unsettled or of ill health.
13. If your horse becomes unsettled during transit then 2uxpress reserve the right to sedate your horse and/or call out an emergency vet to sedate and treat your horse if we deem the situation necessary. You the owner will be liable for any veterinary expenses and will be notified of all costs and treatments.
14. Payment must be made on the day of transport or delivery by cash, bank/building society cheque or draft supported by guarantee card. 2uxpress reserve the right to recover any non payment of outstanding debts that is due, by taking legal action.
15. The customer warrants that he/she is either the owner of the horse(s) or is authorised by the owner to accept these conditions on the owners behalf.
